Our Mission
The purpose of the Guild is to “Promote the exchange of woodworking information and to further the craft“.
We do this by having monthly meetings where we exchange information, ideas, and individual knowledge from member to member and as a group. At each meeting we have a time of “show & tell” where members display and tell about their project which passes on information to other members. Click here to view Show & Tell gallery. And members are able to ask questions to further the exchange.
There is usually a time during the meeting when any member can ask questions of any specific nature. Part of the meeting is devoted to a presentation of some nature where techniques, new tools, or any variety of topics may be covered. We at times have field trips to explore various woodworking aspects and interests and conduct Saturday workshops.
We communicate meeting information and events through a monthly newsletter and email broadcasts to members.
