At the April meeting the subject of wood toxicity came up. There is a good list of woods and their toxicity in the publication, “ A Guide to Useful Woods of the World” published by the Forest Products Society and The International Wood Collectors Society. But, that list is basically reproduced at this link;

The website, www.wood-database.com is also a very good site to help identify many different woods that we might use.
