NEWS
The April 2022 Lee’s Summit Woodworkers guild meeting had another excellent turn out with well over 60 members in the room, almost standing room only, and few more joining remotely via Zoom.
The guild is taking advantage of the glass cabinet for the members to display some of their work and have received many positive comments from the library staff and patrons. If you want to display some of your work in the display case, you need to arrive at 6:30 PM the night of the guild meeting so we can lock up the display case and start the meeting at 7:00.

PHIL’S FINDS (None this month)
PROGRAM
This month’s presentation was by our own Bob Boehner
Bob shared a video of his sawmill operation that is located on highway 7 south of Pleasant Hill Missouri. He shared with the guild members his process for selecting and cutting logs and talked about all the various types of wood he has to offer. Bob also brought in a display that had various species of wood and challenged the Guild members to name them all. we didn’t do so good, and everyone got a good laugh out of it.
SHOW AND TELL
The members once again brought is some fabulous creations for show and tell and showed us all just what a talented membership we have. We are very blessed to be in the company of so many talented men and women. Some of their work can be viewed in the 2022 Gallery here or at our FaceBook page here.
