NEWS
Attendance: 68 members.

Roy Wall, Guild President, welcomed everyone to the April 2025 meeting and thanked everyone for their understanding as to why we met at the Lakeland Community Church. He informed the attendees that we would not be taking photos for the guild website or conducting any membership activities due to the change in venue. Additionally, he informed everyone that there would be no coffee or cookies. Roy did remind members that we need photos from those who have a āPā by their name on the attendance roster and to be sure to find one of the board members at the May meeting in order to get their photo. He then opened the floor to members who had tools for sale.
Dan Calvert asked if the membership would be interested in developing a splinter group dedicated to learning Fusion-360 and if interested to reach out to him.
Dues We still have a significant number of members who have not paid their 2025 dues. Dues remain just $20.00 for the year.
Photos Although the number is decreasing, there are still about 10 members whose photos are missing from our online member directory. Having your photo in the directory is important, as not all members may remember names, but they can recognize faces and locate you in the directory if your photo is included.
PROGRAM

Buddy Build — This month several of the members teamed up with a buddy to build a project together and take the opportunity to learn from each other. Some of the highlights of these builds were Roy Wall and John Newsome building a massive bar for John’s daughter who is opening a new restaurant in downtown Kansas City. Jay Helland and Rex Brown made some pedal ring bowls and Ruthie Paulsen along with Lizzy Cook made the scroll saw intarsia pictured here.
