This past week, Metro Hardwoods reached out to our leadership team to ask if we wanted to host an information booth at their 1st Annual Customer Appreciation Day at the Noland Road store. Although it was short notice, our leadership team successfully staffed the booth, and the event turned out to be a huge success!
Metro provided delicious pulled pork sandwiches, chips, and cookies, and several vendors set up displays to sell their creations in the parking lot. The foot traffic was incredible. Many attendees who dropped by had no idea a Lee’s Summit wood guild even existed, and a lot of people expressed genuine excitement about attending one of our upcoming meetings. We handed out numerous business cards and gained some fantastic exposure for the group.

A special thank you goes out to Phil Morgan, Rex Brown, John Freeland, Jay Helland, Alan Stiles, and George Gleckler for giving up part of their Saturday to represent the guild at this very successful event.
Best regards,
Randy Stone
